★これらは今は無き「大陸書房」の再版。「地球に来た神々」は旧題「地球へ来た神人」、「地底文明説」は旧題も同じ。角川春樹事務所のボーダーランド文庫も旧「大陸書房」の再版を行っているが、これら２社が再版を継続すれば「大陸書房の超常現象シリーズ」がほぼ復活するかも知れない。

• 我々の銀河系の外にあると思われる通常の恒星でも星雲でもない、恒星より淡く青い天体がハッブル宇宙望遠鏡の写真から見つかり、その正体について天文学者の間で謎を呼んでいる。
• しばしば軌道を極端に変える彗星が存在するが、そのメカニズムを宇宙航行に応用できるのではないか。
• マーズ・パスファインダーの観測結果から、火星の岩石は予想されていた以上に二酸化珪素を多く含んでいて、地球のものに非常に良く似ている。気温は数分で15度程の変化があるなど不安定な気象である。前回のバイキングの着陸地点から1000Km以上離れているにも関わらず土壌の成分はほとんど同じで、これは強風により土壌表面が平均化されたためと考えられる。
• 地球上層大気の定説より異常に多い水分量に関して、６年前のNASA実験衛星のデータ分析からも確認された。しかし、彗星が地球に降り注ぐことによってその水分を供給するという仮説には結論が出ない。
• 惑星探査機ガリレオが木星の衛星イオに長年続く激しい火山活動を撮影した。

★米国の天文雑誌 Sky & Telescopeのライバル 誌。ＵＦＯファンでありながら天文ファンでもあるという矛盾した（？）人間の私としては、日本にももっと天文と宇宙開発に関する最新情報を詳しく伝える雑誌があればよいと思うが、状況はその反対で日本の天文雑誌からは年々ニュース頁が減る傾向にある。
